Hemmi No. 1778

The Hemmi No. 1778 is branded with “The Hughes-Owens Co. Limited” and is one of the shorter slide rules in the collection. It’s made from bamboo with a plastic veneer and held together with metal brackets on the ends. The cursor is big and chunky making it easy to move around. It’s a double sided slide rule with ex LL0, e-x LL/0, K, DF, D, R1, R2, L scales on one side and LL/1, LL/2, LL/3, D, LL3, LL2, LL1 scales on the other side. The slider has CF, CIF, CI, C scales on one side and T, Sec T/T, Cos/S, C scales on the other side.
