A pox on blog spammers

The masses are stirring, provoked by the likes of Adam Kalsey, Jeremy Wright and Jay Allen’s MT Blacklist plugin.

Junk mail in my mailbox is already a PITA. Spam in my email is even more of a PITA. At least I have filters that trash most of it before I get to see it. But to have to deal with it in my blog is about the last straw.

So, if you blog with MovableType, make sure you have the latest version of MT-Blacklist installed. Declare your blog a spam-free zone and fight back against spammers.

I still want to shoot them with large cannons.

  1. “Shoot them with large cannons” in a bit ambiguous. Do you want to fire cannons at spammers or load spammers into the cannon? Or perhaps a bit of both?

  2. I just wanted to shoot spammers with large cannons, but now that you mention it, shooting spammers out of a large cannon at spammers might be interestingly satisfying as well.

  3. Can we shoot ‘large lips, hips and peckers’ at the spammers out of these cannons? Nothing like a little taste of their own medicine 🙂
