The house a few houses down from us just went on the market for $280k. Yowsers. That’s waay more than what we paid for our place, and even more than what the place next door went for last year. Kinda makes me wonder how much our place would go for now.

I wonder the same thing. I paid $169K for my West Ashley house on the Shadowmoss golf course in April 2003. A house just down the street from me (the same 1840 sq ft, almost the same floor plan, and also backing up to the 15th fairway) just sold for $259K.
