Due to spousal complaints, I had to remove yesterday’s post showing off the hair the dogs leave around their crates. The wife objected and said it’s not right to put pictures of the messes in the house online, even if there’s a nice clean ‘after’ picture to go along with it. She says it’s too much like airing our dirty laundry. I don’t really see it. I just figured it was a good testament to the power of our Dyson.
Censorship! I’m being repressed!
🙂

Perhaps it would help your cause if fellow dog owners (moi) posted pics of their own dog crates and associated mess? That post made me laugh.
If anyone has shedding dogs they understand completely. If I didn’t sweep and vacuum daily we’d drown in dog hair.
Heather: I used that argument with the wife too, but she wasn’t buying it. We probably don’t vacuum as often as we should, but with labs it’s pretty much a moot point. They leave hair behind as fast as the vacuum can pick it up :).
Pam: That might help 🙂
Funny, but I still remember the photos.
I thought you liked the repression?
Of course, seeing the post, it doesn’t suprise me you got in trouble. I do believe the rationale behind your repression is all the dog fur is a poor reflection on your housekeeping skills, and implies that you live in filthy unkempt mess (not at all like hovel when you were living with Mikey & Marco).
Considering the clumps of hair Mike left around the apartment, the dog hair is much more preferable.
