My wife has decided our next vehicle should be a Nissan Titan. She wants the crew cab version. It’s a big monstrous truck with a big engine, big truck bed, big wheels, big everything. Made a quick trip to the local Morris Nissan to see if we could find out more info. They had the 2003 King Cab version, so we poked around it a bit to check it out. Definitely a big vehicle. Very nice and looks very comfy inside. Hate to think of what the gas mileage will be on the beast though.

Ummm I really question the reason you would want such a truck living in an urban environment like you do? Now I love trucks, but… I think you would be paying a lot of money for heavy duty suspension and big motor that you would never use. These trucks are built to be used off road and in cases of bad roads, they are made to carry heavy loads and yes the gas milage will be crappy, but how about getting a ranger or similar smaller truck. They will give you the visibility driving (if thats what you are after) and are much better on gas and have the same cargo capacity, easier to park, all around better idea I think. But then again I think rain is wet, so who am I to judge.
Actually, the reason she wants to buy the truck is that she’s decided she wants to get a horse. And that means getting a trailer as well. Of course, we’d need something to tow said trailer and to haul around all the stuff that goes along with the horse too.
a horse you say? really? wow, that’s kinda cool. Of course you can tow a horse with a small truck, of course of course. Would that be a brown horse? or a white horse? or a horse of a different colour? hee hee heeeee! and don’t tell me you didn’t see that one coming.
I am a big advocate of pickup trucks…they always come in handy.
